KOWAL, Eugene
Passed away peacefully in Powell River on April 5, 2010 with several family members at his side. Gene is survived by his wife of 61 years, Evelyn; their two sons, Robert (Lorraine) of Powell River and Mark (Jenny) of Mission, BC; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also survived by one sister, Anne (Ralph). Gene's love for people and for travelling, blended with his warmth and enthusiasm, enabled him to make friends wherever he went. His strong faith and tireless work at sharing it with others has left us all with many fond memories. He died with the hope of one day being resurrected to paradise here on earth. The family extends their sincere thanks to all others who visited him and to those who provided healthcare and home care prior to his passing.
