Eugene (Gene) Howard, born in Kelliher, Saskatchewan on October 17, 1917, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2006 after a long illness. He will be deeply missed. Eugene is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Lorna; daughters Darlo (Peter) Gong and Janet; son Bruce (Piyakan) and grandÂchildren, Aaron, Mathew, Naomi Gong and Dui as well as many loving relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Eugene’s Life will be held at Thornhill Hall, 26007 – 98 Avenue, Maple Ridge on October 14, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the BC Cancer Foundation.
