It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Ethan Michael Bain, on June 5th, 2019 at the age of 20. Ethan will be missed every day by his parents Suzanne and Greg, brother Brandon, grandparents Robert & Rita Hayward, his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He graduated from Abbotsford Senior Secondary in 2017 and was pursuing a career in Aviation through both UFV and Okanagan College in Kelowna. He had already completed his Private Pilots license and was finishing his Commercial Pilots license. With plans to become a floatplane pilot, this staggering loss is made all the more painful by the fact that the next chapter of his life was just starting to take off. Ethan lived a larger than life existence and packed a tremendous amount of excitement and adventure into his short 20 years. He loved to go fishing, camping, skiing and longboarding...but what he cherished most was spending time with his friends and family. He will be missed by so very many people.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Henderson's Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Quality Hotel, 36035 North Parallel Rd., Abbotsford BC, on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lookout Society, specifically the Riverside Shelter in Abbotsford. Ethan really enjoyed helping others, and this is his way of giving back.
