Esther Anna Quistorff Andersen
June 27, 1925 – February 19, 2017
Esther passed away at Menno Home on February 21, 2017, while receiving wonderful care from all the staff and her family surrounding her, in person or in spirit. Esther immigrated to Canada from Denmark in May of 1956, following her husband Poul, with their 2 children. Poul and Esther lived together in Surrey, Langley and finally Abbotsford, until Poul passed away in November 2005. Esther then lived independently and cared for herself in Abbotsford until she went to Menno Home in December 2015. Esther was a strong and independent person, loved by many and left this earth in her own way. Esther will be remembered with love and missed dearly by Daughter Hanne Garrison, Son Benny Andersen, Grandchildren Patricia, Glenn, Gail and Kristy. Great Grandchildren Brett, Kyle, Joshua and Jordan. Great Great Grandchildren Zaniah and Myla. A private celebration of Esther’s life will be held by the Family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Esther’s name to Menno Home or to Dementia research.
