It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Errol Walter Lainchbury, surrounded by his loving family. Errol arrived in Canada from his native New Zealand in 1966. He is predeceased by his parents Beryl and Walter, his loving wife Patricia, and his daughter Lisa Froese. Errol is survived by his son Mark, daughter-in-law Lisa, granddaughters Etta and Zoe, son-in-law Rob, grandsons Marek and Dominic, sister-in-law Margaret, brother-in-law Al, nephew Jeremy and family (Devon, Parker, Rorie), sisters Diane and Marie, brother-in-law Peter, nephew Nabi and family, and niece Tamara and family, as well as extended family and friends in New Zealand and Scotland. Errol was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, loved and respected by all who knew him. Prayers will take place on Thursday, March 17 at 5:30 pm at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, 33333 Mayfair Avenue, Abbotsford, BC. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 10:30 am at St. Ann's. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Errol's name to Doctors Without Borders, www.msf.ca.
