Mrs. Erika Marie Hoernig late of Vancouver, BC formerly of Abbotsford passed away peacefully on June 27, 2011 at the age of 90 at Sunrise of Vancouver. She is survived by sisters, Gisela Von Hoyningen Huene and Lolo Engeler; and brother, Heinz Hofrichter. She was predeceased by husband Frank in 2005. Erika will be remembered for her strong work ethic, love of nature and her sense of duty towards family, friends and clients. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 12:00 pm at Henderson's Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, BC. Donations may be made to Parkinson's Society British Columbia.
