Mom also had a passion for children. She started out as a teacher in one room schools in rural Saskatchewan, and later taught in two schools in BC.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, August 11, 2009 in the Lucas Centre, Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly, 3145 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford. The family would like to thank the staff of Menno Hospital for the wonderful care given to mom. Special thanks to Frieda (RN) for her kindness the last evening of mom’s life, and to Kim (RCC) for her support and counsel during Mom’s stay at Menno.
