Emily Grace Tuin, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 5, 2005. Emily was born August 22, 2001 in Ann Arbor, MI, the daughter of Rev. Simon A. and Heather R. (MacLarkey) Tuin. Although Emily did not have a long life, she had a full life. Emily was a member of the Heritage Christian Reformed Church. She is lovingly remembered by her parents, her brother, Connor Simon Tuin; her grandparents, Robert and Susan MacLarkey of Ancaster, ON. and Clarence and Jenny Tuin of Abbotsford, BC; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services were held Thursday, December 8, 2005 at 1:00 pm at the Heritage Christian Reformed Church, Kalamazoo, MI. A private graveside committal service will be held in Maclure Road Cemetery, Abbotsford, BC. An opportunity for friends to meet with the family, will be held on Monday, December 12th at
11:00 am at Gateway Community Christian Reformed Church, 1951 McCallum Rd., Abbotsford. Memorial contributions may be made to Rehabilitations Works (303 Balch St. Kalamazoo, MI 49001) or Heritage Church Children’s Ministry (2857 S. 11th St. Kalamazoo, MI 49009).
