Johnson – Elma died peacefully at MSA Hospital on May 21, 2006 at the age of 94 years. Born in Finland, she emigrated to Canada at the age of 18, residing in Burnaby and for the last 35 years, in Abbotsford. She was predeceased by her husband Victor Lars Johnson in 1989, and her son-in-law Chuck Guerin in 1988. She is survived by her loving family; daughters Ruby (Warren) Bernard of Tofino, BC and Rena Guerin of Nooksack, WA; by 5 grandchildren Steve, Karyn, Brian, Heidi and Robert, and 2 great grandchildren Riley and Araiya. A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 29 at 2:00 pm in Abbotsford Baptist Church, 33651 Busby St. Abbotsford, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Abbotsford Baptist Church.
