Elma Gene, CGA
Died peacefully on May 14, 2005 at Bevan Lodge in Abbotsford.
Gene was born in Vancouver December 28, 1919 to pioneer Matsqui family Edith and Roy Machell. She was predeceased by husband Jack and her brother Wallace. She is survived by sister Ruby (Hugh); sister-in-law Terri; one niece and five nephews and their families.
Gene spent her career as a certified general accountant with Edward Chapman’s Ladies Wear in Vancouver and enjoyed her life at her home on Beach Grove Rd. in Tsawwassen.
The family would like to thank the staff at Bevan Lodge for their kindness while Gene resided there.
