Elma, beloved wife of Rupert Ens, went home to be with our Lord Jesus at the age of 85 years.
Elma was born to Henry and Hilda Andres on her grandparents' farm in Watson, SK. She was the sister to Dorothy, Don, Orville and thirteen years later, to Eugene.
Following high school Elma worked in Saskatoon as a nurse's aide at the University Hospital. She enjoyed nursing so much that she furthered her education and graduated as an LPN in 1958, devoting the rest of her career working in health care.
During several health battles Elma courageously fought, her faith in God deepened. She used every opportunity to share the Gospel and the love of Christ wherever she went.
Elma is predeceased by her sister Dorothy (Jake) Giesbrecht, brother Don Andres, brother Orville (Katie) Andres, sister-in-law Darlene Andres and step-daughter Donna Farwell. Survived by husband Rupert Ens, brother Eugene Andres, sister-in-law Leona Andres, step-son Rod (Charlene) Ens, grandchildren Aaron, James (Becky) Jesse, great grandchild Olivia Marie, and step-son-in-law Glenn Farwell, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Graveside service was held on September 11, 2020 at Maclure Road Cemetery.
