HUMPHREY Evelyn Elizabeth. February 4th 1920 ~ January 29th 2013. Evelyn Elizabeth Humphrey, a resident of the Cedarbrooke Chateau in Mission, passed away peacefully at Mission Memorial Hospital. She was born in Prince Albert. In 1940 she met her future husband and after a six week courtship, they married just before he was sent overseas. Upon his return in 1945 they took up farming in the Prince Albert area, and eventually moved to Abbotsford in 1966. As a couple they were avid bridge players, and enjoyed extensive travel and camping adventures. She is survived by her four sons, George(Barbara) of Kamloops, Jim(Delores) of Red Deer, Terry(Jan) of Spruce Grove, and Bill(Elaine) of Maple Ridge. She also leaves ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband George in 2003. Private service to be held at a later date.
