Evans, Elizabeth ``Betty'' passed away peacefully after a short illness at Surrey Memorial Hospital on Thursday, December 4, 008, at the age of 81 years. Betty was predeceased by her beloved husband Jack; parents John and Elizabeth Kirk; brothers, Jack, Alex and Jim. She is survived by daughters, Gail and Moira (Ken); grandchildren Carmen, Jody, Kelsie, Travis and Wade; sisters Jean, Mae (Harry); and brother Gordon. A Celebration of Betty's life will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at Arbourside Court, 13751 - 74th Ave. Surrey. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of one's choice would be greatly appreciated.
