BRAMHALL — Elizabeth Knox (nee Lanigan) passed into the presence of her Lord on July 1, 2005 at 100 years of age in Cottage Extended Care Home. She was born on February 9, 1905 in Calumet, Quebec; the youngest of 5 children. She was predeceased by her parents, 3 sisters, a brother, her Husband George Bramhall in 1977, and a grandson Robert Bramhall in 1998. She leaves to mourn her daughter Lorna Poignant, son Douglas Bramhall, 4 grandchildren; Steve Poignant, Mike Poignant, Shelley Lewis (Earl) and Diane Bramhall; 3 great grandchildren, Will Atkinson (Nadine), Crystal Olson and Ferguson Lewis; 3 great great grandchildren, Isabella Olson, Wyatt Atkinson and Chloe Atkinson. She met her husband George Bramhall while working for Sun Life in Montreal, moved to B.C. with her husband and 2 children in 1944. She lived in Kelowna, Quesnel, Surrey and has lived in Abbotsford since 1963. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved gardening and reading. Many thanks to the staff of the Cottage Extended Care hospital for their care of mother in her last years, and to the M.S.A. Manor where she lived for 6 _ years. Her cremated remains will be placed next to her husband’s grave in Hazelwood Cemetery.
