Elisabeth Zwaan went to be with her Lord on November 4, 2005. She was born in The Netherlands and came to Canada in 1953. She married her husband Cornelis that same year. They had two sons Cornelis (Susan) and Johannes (Helen); 6 grandchildren Jennifer (Tim), Cornelis (Kirsten), Andrea (Scott), Christy (Aaron), Adam, David, and Sarah, and one great-grandchild Cornelis. Oma had a giving soul and unconditional love for her family. She was the fastest flower picker at the family business and she never left a bud behind.
Oma’s passing will leave a void in the lives of everyone that she touched.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at 2:00 pm at Bethel Reformed Church, 3260 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Society.
