ROGALSKY; Elisabeth
February 11, 1914 ~ July 24, 2015
Born in Orloff, Russia, she immigrated to Canada in 1926. Elisabeth married David D. Rogalsky on April 2, 1939; residing in Alberta prior to moving to Abbotsford, BC in 1970. Predeceased by her loving husband David D. Rogalsky in 1979, and one great-grandchild, Tyrelle Ryan McCaig in 1995. Elisabeth enjoyed homemaking, singing, traveling, community involvement and attaining her master's degree in advice giving. She is survived by her six children Alexander (Lillian) of Abbotsford, Waldemar (Judy) of Keremeos, BC, Marlene Siemens (Jonathan) of Lethbridge, AB, Lorena Siemens (Ralph) Innisfail, AB, Elvira Boldt (Harold) of Calgary, AB, Kathleen Wiebe (Rudy) of Carvel, AB, 17 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren, her sister Nettie Dyck, extended family and friends. Elisabeth spent her last few days at Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission, BC, and died peacefully at the grand age of 101 years. Thank you to all her care givers who offered expressions of compassion and support. A Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 1:30 pm at Bakerview MB Church, 2285 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford.
