Elisabeth (Betty) Laurie
August 17, 1920 - July 6, 2008
Betty Laurie went peacefully to be with the Lord in the early hours of July 6, 2008 following a brief hospital stay. She is lovingly remembered by her family; daughter, Sharron (Robert) Gidych of Ft. Saskatchewan, AB; son, Peter (Mary) Laurie of Abbotsford, BC; 5 grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren; brother, Jack Pietersen of Simcoe, Ont. as well as other family members and friends. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Albert; 2 brothers and her great-granddaughter, Natasha.
The family would like to thank Dr. Collingridge, Dr. Shone, Dr. Byrne, and the nursing staff of MSA Hospital for the wonderful care and compassion given to our mom in her final days.
The memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3845 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford, BC on Monday, July 14, 2008 at 11:00 am.
