Elaine Marie Todoruk passed away on April 13, 2015 at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster. She was born on May 31, 1948 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Elaine loved to cook family dinners and her greatest pleasure was spending time with her grandchildren who she adored. She was predeceased by her parents John and Stella Polywkan. Elaine is survived by her loving family, husband Douglas; married for 48 years, son David (Jodi), grandsons Brandon, Justin and granddaughter Jessica. Also survived by her brothers Bob (Marlyn), Jim Polywkan, and sister Joan Yarashko (Graham Edney), as well as many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 11:00 am from St. James Catholic Church, 2767 Townline Road, Abbotsford, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
