Egon passed away after a lengthy illness on November 18, 2003. He was born in Germany on November 14, 1933. He immigrated to Canada in 1957 and settled in Abbotsford where he married Helen and raised his family.
He was a bricklayer by trade and worked on many homes, businesses and churches in the Abbotsford area. Dad was an avid soccer and softball fan and was a well known spectator on the fields. He was predeceased by his wife Helen on July 31, 1991.
He leaves to mourn his son Werner and wife Connie, daughter Christel and husband Bill Fadden; 2 grandchildren Grant Fadden and Samatha Schaller.
We would like to express our gratitude to the staff at Menno Home and Menno Hospital for the care they have provided. A private family graveside service will be held.
