Taken from us suddenly, Ed is survived by: his wife Madeleine, five children: Linda (Allan) Hayden, Gary Thoreson, Larry (Edith) Thoreson, Dan (Debbie) Thoreson, Lila Esler (John Walthers), ten grandchildren: Eric, Chantel, Crystal, Danielle, Wade, Janie, Stacy, Kelly, Jason, Katelin. Brothers and Sister Lloyd (Edna) Thoreson, Allen Thoreson, Alvine (John) Sloan, Jim (Pat) Thoreson. Predeceased by: grandson — Bradley, brother — Ron, and sister in law — Iona. Ed was a long time resident of the Abbotsford area. Settling here with his family in 1958. He was a life long employee of Dairyland (F.V.M.P.A.). A member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Royal Canadian Legion. Some of his favorite hobbies were Bowling, Gardening, Jigsaw Puzzles, Music and Socializing. His last few years with us were spent at the MSA Manor Nursing Home.
A very special thank you to the staff and residents for all their loving care and affection that he received there. Memorial Service will be held on Friday January 14th , 2005 at 2:00 pm from Henderson’s Funeral Home , 34537 Marshall Rd., Abbotsford.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the MSA Manor in Abbotsford.
