Edward (Ted) Francis of Buchanan Lodge, New Westminster, passed away at the Royal Columbian Hospital after a brief illness on February 13, 2005.
Ted was born June 8, 1915 in London, England and immigrated to Canada in 1933. Predeceased by his wife Ellen in 1997 and his only brother Joseph in 1998, Ted is lovingly survived by his children Brian (Sheena), Maureen (Jim), and Mike (Audrey); his grandchildren Steve (Lisa), Sheryl (Tony), Christine (Darrin), Matt (Beth), Dan (Jolie), Jennifer (Graham), and Darrel (Judy); his great grandchildren Maxwell, Jackson, Jade, Julia, Victoria, Mackenzie, Andrew and Mitchell.
Ted enjoyed the simple pleasures of life: a walk on the pier, warm glow of a fire, and the sweet taste of ice cream. Ted’s delight and greatest loves were his family and friends. Ted will be dearly remembered for his faith in Jehovah, an adventurous spirit, good humour and the ability to touch the hearts of all he met.
Memorial service to be held Friday, February 18, 2005 at 1:00 pm in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1672 Salton Rd., Abbotsford, BC
