Edward Arthur Russell of Abbotsford passed away peacefully at MSA Hospital December 24, 2006 at the age of 88 years. He is survived by his wife, Helen and predeceased by his wife Pauline, and Vera, the mother of his children: David (Clara), Mary (Andrew) and John (Sandra) and grand daughters Alana and Christina.
Until his death, Edward (Ted) touched the lives of many people in the community as he carried out his full-time ministry as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was especially appreciated for his Bible education program spanning over 35 years at the Matsqui Correctional Institute. He was also a marrying agent, who performed over 100 ceremonies.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 1:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1672 Salton Road, Abbotsford.
