Eduard Bauch passed into the presence of His Lord at the Menno Home on Oct. 15, 2010 after a long decline in health.
He was born in Neu Lustdorf, Russia on Aug. 3, 1927, son of Wilhelm and Sinaide Bauch. He emigrated to Canada in 1952, where he met and married Elsie Dyck on Sept. 5, 1954. Ed and Elsie managed a successful berry and chicken farm on Mt. Lehman Rd in Abbotsford. He leaves to mourn his wife Elsie, children Richard (Jan) Bauch, Dora (Don) Hall, Bernie Bauch, and Ted (Laverne) Bauch, as well as 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Flora Sohn, nieces, nephews and cousins. Viewing will be on Tuesday, Oct. 19 from 6 - 8 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Rd., and the funeral service will be on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 11 am at the Clearbrook MB Church, 2719 Clearbrook Rd, Abbotsford.
