Edna Mabel of Abbotsford, formerly of Burnaby, North Vancouver and Woodfibre, passed away on March 2, aged 89 years.

She is survived by her loving family, daughters Carol Schmidt (Ernie) and Jan Foss (Marty); grandchildren Kim Robin (Noel), Kristine D’Amours (Darcy), Sara Foss, Cindy Jardine and Tammy Hildreth (James); great grandchildren Ashley and Justin Robin, Colin and Jenna D’Amours, Stephanie Foss, Dylan Jardine and Avery Hildreth; sisters Tecla Gunn and Margot Clark; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jack and Kay Johnson and brother-in-law Elof Kellner; also many nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceased by her loving husband Doug, brother Art and Âsisters Ina and Elsie.

Special thanks to Dr. M. Bale for his wonderful care of mom for the past 17 years. Also thanks to the wonderful staff (Angels) at Maplewood House for their kindness and loving care of mom and our family throughout.

A celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, March 11 at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Rd., Abbotsford, reception to follow.
