March 10, 1927 - October 20, 2020
It is with sadness that the family of Edith Jean Annesley wishes to inform you that Edith passed away peacefully on the 20th of October 2020.
Edith (to her Mother), Jean (to her Father) was born on March 10 1927, in Vancouver, to Maud and Everett Annesley.
She was the youngest in the family with two bigger brothers, Ross and Donald that have both predeceased her.
Eddie was raised and worked in Vancouver until 1984 where she took early retirement and to look after her mom in her later years. After her Mom passed Eddie packed up and moved out to Abbotsford to live out the rest of her life. Eddie loved her family and friends and spending time with them often.
She also had a passion for life: traveling, playing piano, banjo, and the bagpipes, tending to her loving dogs and never passing up a good strong cup of coffee. The coffee pot was always on when you went for a visit.
Eddie will be remembered by her nieces and nephews, Barbara, Audrey (Phil), Mike (Gina), Dave (Darcie) and Patti (Chris) and the many great nieces and nephews.
We would also like to also thank all the staff at Bevan Lodge for the many years of love and care they provided to make her feel welcome and at home.
Eddie's ashes will be laid to rest in the family plot at Mountain View Cemetery in Vancouver and a Celebration of Life will be held later in the new year for the immediate family due to CoVid19 restrictions.
