It is with great sadness the family of Edgar Ruf announce his passing at the age of 72 years. He was called to his eternal home on Saturday, April 16, 2005 in Abbotsford B.C.
Edgar was predeceased by his father David and his mother Katherine. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Linda, his children Sherry and Kalle Kielinen, Randy and Sandra Ruf, Gayle and Jorge Coelho and six grandchildren- Blake, Derek, Chantelle, Kevin, Brandon and Ryan, and four siblings Viola, Orland, Harold and Audrey.
Interment will take place at Valley View Memorial Gardens in Surrey, B.C. followed by a memorial service at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3845 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford, B.C., on Friday, April 22, 2005 at 2:30 p.m.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the dedicated nursing staff of MSA Hospital, especially those in Emergency and on 2 East, who showed such great kindness and offered so much support to Edgar and his family in their time of need.
Memorial donations may be made to the B.C. Cancer Society or the Lutheran Hour Ministry.
