Edward Allan Pawson, age 81 of Mission, B.C. passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 25, 2003, surrounded by his loving family. He will be sadly missed by his devoted wife, Dorothy of 57 years; daughtyers, Phyllis (Darran), Linda (CArmen), Nancy, and Alana (Ray); son David (Denise); grandchildren, Tracey (Nick), Kristie, Angie (Chris), Kin (Wayne), Ted (Jodie), Justin, Melissa, Ed, Mike, and Amy; and great grandchildren, James, Arianna, Braeden, Marina, Teron, Bradley, Peter, Curtis, and Maguire.
He also leaves his brother, Harry (Irene), and sister, Evelynn Tapio.
Al served his country in the Royal Canadian Navy during WW2. He workded for many years as a longshoreman on the New Westminster waterfront. Al was a kind and generous man. His family was his greatest joy. He treated everyone with unconditional love and acceptance.
A celebration of Al's life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. from Hatzic Prairie Hall, 10845 Farms Road, Mission. Family and friends are most wecone to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favourite charity would be appreciated. Cremation by Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mission.
