Edgar Richard McLatchy, loving husband of Freda, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 19, 2003 at Mission Hospital in his 71st year.
Ed was born in Mission, joined the Air Force as a radio man and after discharge worked for B.C. Telephone.
Ed enjoyed flying, sawing lumber in his own sawmill and camping with Freda and his many friends.
Ed has 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He will be sadly missed by his family; Sandra (Robert), Stanley (Sheena), Ken (Tracey), Andrew (Jillian) and Robert (Kim). Ed inspired his family and friends and always offered help and encouragement.
Service to be confirmed at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
