MITCHELL, Douglas Leslie
January 24, 1948 - March 15, 2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Douglas in Coquitlam BC. He was the beloved son of Jean Mitchell and the late Frank Mitchell. He is survived by his sister Judi Leech (Bob) of North Vancouver and brother Tom Mitchell of Mission; nieces Amanda Leech (Joel) and Allison Sorace (Vince); great nieces and nephew Ivy, Chloe and Sebastian. Doug was a graduate of UBC and was greatly loved by his family.
A Graveside service will be held at Hatzic Cemetery on Saturday April 2, 2015 at 11:00am followed by a Memorial luncheon at the Presbyterian Church in Mission. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Schizophrenia Society of BC 201-6011 Westminster Hwy, Richmond, BC V7C 4V4.
