Douglas passed away on December 2, 2005 at the age of 59 years. He was predeceased by his father Leslie, mother Violet, and brother Mervin. He is survived by his loving family wife Ruby; daughter Debbie; brothers Ivan (Jan); Nick (Gayle); sisters Kathy and Karen (Greg); grandchildren Katie, Matthew, and Mitchell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Doug was employed by BC Hydro for over 30 years. His favorite pastimes were fishing, golfing and curling.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 2:00 pm in Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, BC. If desired, donations may be made in his memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
