It’s with great sadness we announce the passing of Doug Benedict who lived life fully, with a positive nature and a wonderful sense of humour. Doug’s love and appreciation for family and friends was unquestionable. He always made people feel welcome and respected. We are comforted in the fact that Doug has joined the love of his life, Janet, where they’ll be in each other’s arms, dancing for eternity. Doug is forever remembered by his children Teresa (Bob), Krista, Kirk (Susan), grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all those who knew him. A celebration of Doug’s life will be held at the Quality Hotel and Conference Centre, 36035 N. Parallel Rd., Abbotsford at 2:00 pm on November 7th. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
