MERCER
Dorothy Zeyla Mercer, a long time resident of Hatzic Prairie, passed away May 20, 2009 at the Dr. Stuart Pavilion Extended Care Unit, in Mission, BC at the age of 81 years. Dorothy is predeceased by her mother and father David and Albina. She will be remembered by her sister Hazel (Jim); niece Heather (Terry); great-nieces Crystal and Holly (Craig) and great-great niece Makayla; nephew Sandy (Eileen) and great-nephew Matthew; godson Gerald; and many cousins and friends. Prayer service will be offered on Sunday, May 24th at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 32550 - 7th Avenue, Mission followed by Funeral Mass on Monday, May 25th at 10:30 a.m. Interment at the Hatzic Cemetery. Thank you to Dr. Wouterloot and the ECU team for their loving care over the years. Also, thank you to Rita and Doug for offering weekly prayers and communion to Dorothy.
