Dorothy Isabel WEBSTER

Dorothy Isabel passed away peacefully with family members present on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at Ebenezer Home. She was born in Rouleau, Saskatchewan to Earle and Bessie Rumble. Dorothy's early years were spent on the family farm in Rouleau. The family moved to Chilliwack when Dorothy was a young girl. She completed her high school and business diploma while in Chilliwack. she moved to Abbotsford and worked as a librarian, where she met her future husband, Fergie. Fergie and Dorothy had three children. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Throughout her life Dorothy was active in the United Church Women's organization and the Sewing Club. She also enjoyed bridge and Mah-jongg with her many friends. Her greatest joy was following and supporting her grandchildren's various athletic and artistic pursuits. Fergie passed away in 1983. Dorothy is also predeceased by her brother, Graham Rumble and will be greatly missed by her sister, Margery Vickerson; her three children, Brent (Pam), Scott (Sharri Ann) and Cyndy (Ken); her grandchildren, Cara (Doug), Shelby (Cassie), Shaun (Shannon), Brett, Megan, Sam, Jessica, Luke and Zachery; and her great-grandchildren, Ethan. A memorial service will be held in the lounge of the Trinity Memorial United Church, George Ferguson Way, Abbotsford, at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2006. A celebration of life will follow at the home of Brent Webster, 2867 Glenavon Court, Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers, the family request any donations be made to the Trinity Memorial United Church.
