ROSS, Doris Colleen

In Loving Memory

July 5, 1936 ~ May 14, 2009

After a lengthy battle with heart failure, Doris passed away at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital. Born in Magrath, Alberta, she was the daughter of Sam and Clara Cheeseworth and had been living in the Abbotsford area for 48 years. In 2006 she was predeceased by her husband Wilbur of 50 years. Doris will be greatly missed by her four daughters: Colleen and Andy Mitchell, Sharon and Henry Perkins, Joanne Friesen and Linda and Rod Thiessen; her grandchildren Brad, Kelsey and Ryan Mitchell, Corey and Katrina Perkins and Amy and Catherine Friesen; and her great grandchildren Makayla and Brody Mitchell. She leaves behind her sisters Alice Wilson and her family of Montrose, B.C. and June Findlay and her family of Regina, Sask., along with many other relatives and friends. Through modern medicine and Doris' strong will, she was able to live many years beyond expectations. Thanks to the staff at the hospital and extra thanks to Dr. Martin Kucerak.
