On May 17, 2006, Doreen Elma, of Abbotsford, born October 21, 1926 in Gladstone, Man., who was dearly loved by her family, passed away at the MSA hospital with her husband of 49-1/2 years, Joseph, by her side.
She left behind three children, Brenda (Jasper, AB), Karl (Surrey, BC), Floyd (Winnipeg, MB), also her brother James (Gladstone, MB), Harold (Gull Lake, SK), and sister Pearl (Summerland, BC), plus four grandchildren, Mathew (Calgary, AB), Nicole (Jasper, AB), and Laura and Clara (Surrey, BC).
A memorial service was held at the Living Hope Fellowship Church in Surrey with Pastor Lorin Bergen officiating with most of the family and friends attending.
