ISAACS, Doreen Annie passed into the presence of her Lord on August 29, 2009 at the age of 88 years. She was predeceased by 2 children in infancy while in Ethiopia. She is survived by her loving family; husband of 63 years, Bud; 4 children Judy Waddell of Israel, Brian (Brenda) of Brazil, Ken (Barbara) of Oakville, Ontario, Colleen (David) Montgomery of Israel; grandchildren Cheryl-Anne, Joshua, Ishai, Oren, Limor, Hadar, Asaph and Erez. Also survived by one sister Barbara Morrison of Guelph, Ontario. Born in Hamilton to Walter & Kathleen Frid, Doreen married Aaron (Bud) Isaacs on June 10, 1946. They spent 29 years in Ethiopia under Sudan Interior Mission (S.I.M.) and she was a member of Mission Aviation Fellowship from 1982 - 1990 throughout many parts of Africa and Brazil. Funeral service was held on Friday, September 4 at 2:00 p.m. in the Abbotsford Evangelical Free Church. Donations may be made in her memory to the S.I.M. or the M.A.F.
