Donald George FULLER

September 7, 2004

Donald George

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Donald George Fuller on Sept. 7, 2004. Don was born on Oct. 27, 1916 in Elgin, MB., he was the second of two children. Dad was predeceased by his wife Marjorie; his parents, George and Jane Fuller; Uncle Joe and Aunt Etta Cummings; his brother William Lewis; his son Edward Fuller; and his granddaughter Heather Foreman. Left to mourn his death are his daughters Jane (Mike) Szucs, Peggy Black, Donna (Dennis) Ellah, Lauretta (Don) Gordon, Leslie (Ernie) Lessing; his grandchildren Michael (Stephanie) Szucs, Lee-Ann (Larry) Alford, Ward (Charlene) Black, Benjamin, Quinn, Kayla Ellah, Christopher (Cynthia) Garrett, Alexandra Gordon, Richard (Claudia) Lessing, Sara and Trevor Lessing, and 11 great grandchildren.

Dad always had a story to tell about his youth and how he terrorized the town. Along with his sense of humor came a very compassionate nature. His affection for our mother was always apparent in his actions, he never left the house without a kiss, and they never went to bed upset with each other. Dad was a hard worker all his life and mom and dad always gave their children all they could want, not always in material goods, but in the more important things, the giving of their time and energy, camping and swimming every summer in the interior of BC often combined with the picking of the fruits and vegetables needed to can for the winter. Work didn’t seem so much like work with mom and dad.

Memorial services were held Sat., Sept. 11, 2004 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1672 Salton Rd. Abbotsford. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
