Diedrich Gerbrand, 84, passed peacefully into the loving arms of his Saviour on October 20, 2018 at the Tabor Home in Abbotsford, BC. Diedrich was born in Loma Plata, Paraguay November 9, 1933.
Predeceased by his wife of 36 years Tina (Dyck) in 2002. He is lovingly survived and will be deeply missed by his children; Alvin (Lorianne), Alfrid (Julie and grandchildren Cooper, Isabell and Samuel), Alvina Vendl (Tom and grandchildren Warren, Jordan and Adrian) and Jimmy (Patti and grandchildren Gabriella, Judah, Malcolm and Joe) and many relatives and friends.
Diedrich was a kind-hearted man who loved his family and could always make us smile. He enjoyed gardening, going for walks and talking to people.
A memorial service will be held at Northview Community Church, 32040 Downes Road, Abbotsford on Wednesday, October 31st at 1:00 pm. A private burial will be held at the Maclure Road Cemetery.
