Diann Amelia Wattman (Hill, nee Williams)

March 3, 1941 – July 26, 2019
Diann Amelia Wattman (nee Hill, nee Williams) passed away peacefully on July 26, 2019. She had immense grace, strength and courage that we will continue to admire and remember. She was pre-deceased by her husband Wayne Wattman, brother Donald Williams, mother Francis Ann Bateman and father Samuel Williams. Diann was born in Cumberland, BC. It is here she met her first husband, Eldon Hill. They were married 25 years and shared two daughters, Dori and Lisa. She later married Wayne Wattman in 1988. She leaves behind her beloved daughters Dori Hill (Corey Walters), and Lisa Hill (Lawrence Chung), adored grandchildren Kaylan Jones (Nathan Jones) and Shea Bourquin (Jessica), adored great grandchildren Tatum and Ryan Jones, plus many nieces, nephews, and step-children Rick, Margaret, Marian and Rob. Diann, aka Nanny, Momma-Cita, Amy, and Sweet Heart… will forever be missed and loved. She will be remembered for her compassion and love for all people and animals. She possessed incredible wit and humour. She loved baking, cooking, dancing, painting and music, so much music (especially her accordion playing!). She will continue to be an infinite guide for her daughters. “Que Sera Sera”. Sincere thank you to all of the staff at Menno Hospital for their endless love and care.
A private Celebration of Life will be held for her in the upcoming months. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society British Columbia.
