Derkje (Dixie) Meindertsma

April 19, 1931 - June 11, 2022
Dixie passed away peacefully to be with her Heavenly Father on June11, 2022 at Holmberg House Hospice In Abbotsford B.C.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Elko (Heather), Sylvia (Robin), Henry, Nancy, Peter, as well as 10 grand children and 6 great grand children. She was predeceased by her husband Klaas, her brother Hendrik and Sister Kenna. Also her son-in-law Maynard.
A special thank you to everyone at Tabor court who made her feel so loved and cared for in her last home. After her 91st birthday, she was diagnosed with cancer. She spent her last days with the exceptional care of all the nurses and doctors at Holmberg House, Hospice.
She was fearless and confident in her faith. She filled us all with her joyous heart, full of love. We will always treasure the memories of our gracious Mother.
There will be a graveside service 11:00 at Hazelwood cemetery on Wednesday the 22nd of June, with a memorial service to follow at Living Hope CRC.
