1928-2020 ~ It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished husband and father. Left to fondly remember is his wife Jean of 67 years; children Kenneth, Jeffrey and Lori, 6 Grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and extended family. Born in Vancouver he was the youngest of 6 children and was predeceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Dennis attended Sir James Douglas and King Edward High Schools. Following completion of his education he was employed by the Department of Transport as a radio operator and spent the next 15 years on Marine and Airport stations in B.C. before transferring to the Abbotsford Airport in 1964 as an electronic technician until 1978 and finished his career in 1983 in the head office in Vancouver.
After retirement Dennis was an active member of the Abbotsford branch of F.S.N.A. and Life member of Abbotsford Genealogical Society. Gill and Jean enjoyed camping, cruising and travelling with friends and family. We wish to thank the staff at Tabor Home for the wonderful care given to Gill for the last 5 1/2 years of his Alzheimer journey.
A private family graveside service due to current restrictions will be held later. If anyone so desires, donations to the Tabor Home building fund or the Alzheimer Society in his memory.
