In loving memory
Denise Marie Marsden (Leduc)
1928 – 2007
God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be. He gently closed your eyes and whispered come with me. You didn’t deserve what you went through and so he gave you rest. God’s garden must be beautiful for he only takes the best.
Denise was born in The Pas, Manitoba on July 27, lived and worked as a beautician in Brandon, Shilo, Rivers, Maple Ridge, and Mission and loved to dance, play piano, bake and garden. Denise passed, away after battling a long illness, on Sunday, July 1 at 8:00 am. In her travels to the next world she will meet her parents Laura (Gailloux) and Lodore Leduc, and her siblings Wilfred (Duke) and Beatrice, and will leave behind her loyal and loving husband Lambert (Monty) Marsden; her children Rasunah, Laura, Greg, Marc, Dawn and Sean; her grandchildren Davita, Cory, Sylvia, Nathan, Sharifah, Leanna, Sheilah, Aaron, Beatrice, Chantelle, Adrian, Justine, Luthfi, Sonya, Alicia, Kurt, Andrea, Angelica, Jibran and Akisha; her nieces and nephews Rene, Louise, Carol and Bob; their partners and wives; 16 great grandchildren; and hundreds, if not thousands, of dear cousins and friends who will not forget her. Her dedicated and caring love, determination, hard work, hospitality, quick wit, graciousness and beautiful smile were an inspiration to many, and will live on forever.
Service was held July 8 at St. Joseph’s Church in Mission. Interment in Maple Ridge.
