Dean Larivee, late of Abbotsford, passed away on July 10, 2006 at the age of 56 years. He is survived by his loving wife Sue, children Aimee, Deanna, Joey, Sheena and Dennis, brother Doug (Carol), and mother Ruth. He was predeceased by his father. Dean began his career in the fire service in North Vancouver in 1978, from 1998 until present he was Captain of the training division of the Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service. His love of athletics included hockey, baseball and his great love, golf. Dean fought a courageous battle with Leukemia. Throughout his treatment he kept his positive attitude and sense of humour. He will be sadly missed by all.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 19 at 1:00 pm at Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly 3145 Gladwin Rd. In lieu of Âflowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Research Society.
