Dean Allen Daniels

In loving memory ~
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Dean Allen Daniels age 72 of Abbotsford announce his passing on Wednesday March 9, 2022 at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Center surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Berwick Nova Scotia, he was the son of Lorimer Daniels (predeceased) and Mary (Sweeney) Daniels.
Dean loved the outdoors fishing, hunting, walking, camping, travelling to Thailand, loved spending time with his wife Chanpriya (Comtharak) Daniels, working in his shop, and was very passionate about his grandchildren.
Dean retired from BC Building Corporation and proudly worked in the Fish Hatchery in Abbotsford until his retirement with many stories and fond memories of building projects.
Dean will be dearly missed by his wife Chanpriya, his daughter Christina (Roderick) Holt, his son Joe Daniels; his grandchildren Taylor and Thomas Holt, his step children Sirinya and Lalida Metta; Dean's Mom Mary, sister in law Angi Daniels, brothers Jim (Cheryl), Peter, Tommie (Susan), Robin, Patrick, Lyndon (Patricia), Randy (Gilda), and Robert (Pat Brown), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Besides his father, Dean was predeceased by step son Khittipong Metta, his brother Bill Daniels, grandparents Lloyd Daniels and Cassie (Gould) Daniels, William Sweeney and Bessie (Minnis) Sweeney.
Cremation has already taken place.
A celebration of his life will be held in his home Saturday April 23 2022, at 2pm.
In lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions may be made in Dean's memory to Sooke Options for Community Living www.socla.ca where his grandson attends an adult day program for people with disabilities.
