It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. David Richard Zbitnew, late of Abbotsford, BC who passed away on January 18, 2005 at the age of 67 at Surrey Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his wife Valerie (nee Luck), daughters Beverley (Paul) Warren and their children Ashley and Nicole and Tanya Zbitnew (Jan), son Darren, granddaughter Daryl, four sisters, Jean Kotyk, Olga Ranger, Julie (Bill) Scott, and Audrey Zbitnew and many other family members and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Samuel and Mary (nee Gabna), four brothers Walter, John, Alfred and Nestor, and sister Sophie Moore.
He retired early from the Canadian Armed Forces (Navy) after 21 years of service.
A Celebration of David’s life will be held at a later date in Saskatchewan. Burial will be held at Mamornitz Cemetery, SK. Donations may be made to Silver Heights Home, Raymore, SK or a charity of your choice.
