After a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, David passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He will be remembered for his positive attitude, inner strength and optimistic outlook. His passion for sports and his ability to tell exceptional stories with such cleverness and sarcastic wit, will be fondly missed.
He leaves behind his loving wife and best friend for 22 years Roxanne, his beautiful daughter Kristen (Jeff) and his golfing buddy son Braydon. David’s brother Martin from Toronto, his sister Jenny (Joe) from Abbotsford, his youngest sister Tracy (Mike) from Alberta and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Roxanne’s mother Darlene and her sisters, Dawn (John) and Deborah (Anthony) have been a constant source of strength and support for Roxanne, Kristen and Braydon as well as so many other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 11th 2004 at North Valley Baptist Church, 32715 Cherry Street, Mission at 2:00 p.m.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
