FOXCROFT, David Claude

Jan. 9, 1921- May 7, 2009

David was born in a farm house near Birsay, Saskatchewan along with 7 brothers & 8 sisters. He was a farmer, soldier, milkman & a civil servant. He enlisted in the R.C.A. 4th L.A.A. Regiment on April 2, 1941 and was an L/SGT. He was then discharged October 23, 1945. David is survived by his wife Ruth, step-daughter Kari (Clayton), son John (Mariette), and 6 grandchildren; Clifford, Helen, Todd (Sandra), Graham (Robyn), Heather, Tammy (Mark), 2 brothers Bob and Bert, 3 sisters Beth, Jean and Muriel. David loved to sing & dance, he played the guitar, organ, violin and accordin. He also liked gardening, RVing and five pin bowling. David will be missed.

A memorial was held on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at Henderson’s Fraser Valley Funeral Home, Abbotsford, BC
