Dave's life was filled with people who would remember him as one or more of the following: passionate and committed educator; consummate host; loyal and lifelong chum; aficionado of martinis and roast beef dinners.
Dave was predeceased by the love of his life, Margie, whom he met too late and lost too early; and his brothers Frank, Gary and Peter. He is remembered by many family members, friends and colleagues, among them his children and their spouses Mackenzie Fribance & Valerie Rome and Robin Fribance & Barry Shiffman, and grandchildren Rebecca Fribance, Lily and Zoe Shiffman, all for whom he has been a fun-loving, generous and constant parent and grandparent; and sisters Ruth Cowell, Norma Rivett and Nancy Gilmore.
A service to remember Dave will be held on Friday, August 10 at 1:00 pm at Henderson's Fraser Valley Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Rd, Abbotsford, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations to the David Shore Memorial Scholarship fund can be made at www.abbotsfordcf.org.
