On the evening of September 13, 2016, God called Darryl home at the age of 38 after a tragic accident. Darryl is survived by his father, Bob Vos, his step-parents, George and Flory Boer; his grandmother, Betty Vos; sister, Sherri (John) Van Harmelen (and children; Samantha, Lucas, Tristan, Jessica, Kennedy and Christina); his new found step-brothers and sisters with their children; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Darryl was predeceased by his mother, Ena Boer. Darryl was born in Edmonton, Alberta but resided in Abbotsford most of his life. In the past year and a half Darryl had overcome his addiction and cherished his time with family and friends. A Celebration of Darryl’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 1:00 pm at New Life Church, 35270 Delair Road, Abbotsford, BC, with Pastor Nathan Elgersma officiating.
