Daniel Frederick Norton

A Veteran Died on October 2, 2016

Dan served in WWII with the Fort Garry Horse Tank Regiment landing on D-Day.

He was born in Belmont, Manitoba and lived in Winnipeg, where he married and made life long friends before moving to BC.

Dan was employed for 25 years with Corrections Canada where he made many friends. He retired as an Assistant Warden/Security.

After retirement he was a regular for morning coffee at McDonald's and brunch at Jo-Jo's where he will be remembered by staff and friends alike. Dan is now at peace with the love of his life, wife Barbara.

At his request there will be no service.

In lieu of flowers Dan would want you to show respect and kindness to others.

94 years well lived and sadly missed.
